Amsterdam, June 10th 2021 – Shell, one of the world’s largest energy providers, has signed an investment agreement to acquire a minority share in Global Fleet Management system company OviDrive in a deal that will enable both companies to strengthen their position on the Corporate Fleet market.
Under the terms of the deal, OviDrive will absorb Tokyo-based consultant company Connector K.K. that will continue its activities as “OviDrive Consulting.” The investment by Shell will help OviDrive enhance the functionalities of its digital Fleet Management system and expand the company’s reach globally. OviDrive will be offering SaaS solutions, outsourcing of Fleet Management as well as consulting services on global scale. The company will be integrating mobility services as well as other digital tools for Fleets and Fleet Managers.
OviDrive is active in 27 markets in Europe, with European headquarters based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and offers fleet management and consulting services to customers globally.
